Location is absolutely great

Cold and inappropriate welcome. A young lady only English speaking without any ability to explain morning breakfast and facilities around the hotel. Very poor service for being 4 star hotel. Room basic and clean terrible noise outside the hotel electricity generator and clubs with no stop activity. Room hasn’t any type of acoustic isolation very bad experience. No reason to sleep there again. Low bed quality. Absolutely a disaster.

Only reason I would stay here is for the location of the hotel, nothing else

well, its hard for us to give a biased opinion of our stay here because we ended up at this hotel by having a very disappointing experience with the booked hotel after our arrival to Rome. We got lucky enough to have a very pleasant stay at Rome that overthrow any previous bad feelings, however, after some days I think I can say hotel wasnt that bad after all. Location is superb, is just a block away from Piazza Spagna and one road from Via Condotti, the finest shopping area of Rome, you just get out of the hotel front door and you are just in the middle of Rome center, where all the night life, tourist and shoppers are, (but as with anything, there are two sides for that). Cleanness of the room was good, however hotel and room pictures are way far better than reality. Hotel restaurant seems to be good, it was always crowed, besides breakfast we did not ate there so I am not able to judge it.

Finding the hotel was not easy, is inside the ZTL area so get in there with a car is not possible, there is no place to park your car even for unloading the baggages so get ready to walk a long way dragging them. You see a restaurant in the place where your GPS is telling you the hotel is located, only sign of it is a big front door, (used by restaurant staff to enter to the kitchen so it confuse you), you dont know right away you got there at first glance. Front desk staff at our arrival hardly spoke english, or Italian... however we where able to understand each other. Been a building in the center or Rome expect a very old building, even if inside is all renovated, stair is minimal, space is something this hotel does not have, elevator, even mandatory is unusable for it size, hallways are small as well, if you find someone else in your path one of both have to move so the other can pass. Breakfast was just ok, dont know where the "luxury" come from the hotel name, certainly not from the room we stayed. There are people walking on the street at any time, restaurant was also crowed and since it is located within the hotel your room is just above the dining tables. Garbage truck goes by every early morning so get ready to have an early wakeup, these guys have no consideration for your sleep and too many glass bottles are used in Italy, you can tell by the noise they make while so many are dumped inside the garbage truck at 7 am early morning, (sunday included). Parking is not available, I was instructed to drive around the lungo Tevere to find a parking spot on the street, I was lucky to find one after midnight but I had to leave the car parked there for 3 days, so I was forced to go there 2 times a day to fill up the parking meter, (at least it was free from 23:00 to 8:00). Nothing happened to the car while it was parked on the street, but there is always a risk by doing that.

There was no manual to call reception and you are on the 3rd floor. You have to google information. Telephone in the room was not working, there was no iron. I hope it will be improved.
